Juvederm™ Treatment

Juvederm treatment is a non-surgical service performed by Dr. Prasad. It may be used to enhance the contour of eyelids that have experienced “hollowing”.Juvederm treatment will restore eyelid shape and create a rejuvenated appearance. Juvederm treatments are also used to fill in facial wrinkles and folds and sometimes to bring fullness to lips. Juvederm treatments take approximately a half hour and give instantaneous results. Results last up to six months or longer. We recommend follow-up Juvederm treatments every six months.

Juvederm™ Filler

Juvederm filler is a type of hyaluronic acid filler that is a naturally occurring substance in the body. There are numerous other fillers on the market that are all variations of Juvederm and differ in their composition so that they are thicker or have varying durations in the body. Dr. Prasad and the client will discuss cosmetic goals and which preparation of filler will best suit his or her needs. The fillers are injected into the mid to deep dermis underlying stubborn lines and wrinkles around the face. Hyaluronic acid that naturally occurs in the body gives the skin fullness. Juvederm treatment consist of injections of Juvederm filler to restore the natural volume of skin that has decreased with age from sun damage.
